Halfway Reflection

The behaviors I have used to keep up with the requirement of this course is writing down all important due dates in my agenda, developing a professional attitude, and doing the cupcakes that I have to do per week.

To prevent me from giving up, I told myself that I could do it and that it will be worth it in the end. I told myself that schools comes first. For example, I work more than 20 hours a week and had a tough time balancing school and work. I told my boss to cut down my hours, so I can focus more in school. Sometimes balancing both segments is tough and you have to choose which one you want to focus more on. I believe this course made me develop a more tenacious attitude due to the fact that this class prepared me for the real world. Coming from a business family, I now get to see how these factors play a role in the real world, such as persuading your audience to buy the product. Interviewing people gave me a better perception of what the business world is like too. Sometimes listening to different people can give you a better overview of what the demand is.

If you believe in something never give up, overcome your stage fright, and keep practicing because it makes perfection.

  1. Keeping up with each assignment was definitely a hard task for me at first since it is such a unique style of class. But like you, making sure I know when everything is due has made this class drastically more manageable. This class may be a lot at times but it is easy to stay on top of things and you seem like you are doing just that.

  2. Keeping up with the assignments is something that I personally find hard as well. I think that doing things ahead of time really helps me to stay on track and encourages me to be more engaged with the blog posts. I think the class is sometimes hard to manage, but keeping up with everything and taking advantage of the classes work at your own pace flow really makes it easy to stay on top of the work.
